Verdict is in...

The verdict is in, I am having my gallbladder removed next Wednesday. The bad part about it is I can not lift for seven full days:( That is going to be a ruff one with three 21month olds. Ginger one of the kids ot had offered to come by in the mornings to help get them up, brushed and dressed and the rest well Prayer has always guided my hand to know what to do and I am positive it will not fail me now. So this afternoon I had lots to do and started with removing the rest of the summer things from the closet leaving couple of pairs of shorts and t shirts for each just in case this crazy Indiana weather says we need them. Tried on some things that needed to be gone through behind the super yard in the picture below. While I was working in the closet in the nursery the kids were having great fun as you can tell by the floor in the picture. They were happy and I was able to get a few things accomplished. I have to get that mess taken care of before Wednesday. That is going to be a ruff one because I now work Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. Mamaw came by this evening since she didn't get to come by last night. My dad was in the hospital. He had some facial numbness and was admitted for test. It was discovered that there is plac breaking away in the arteries and bouncing off the brain causing it. They said this could happen from time to time. All is well and he went back to work this evening. So I am off to bed to begin my long weekend bright and early at 5 am.

It took 21 months...

Well, after 21 months and all of my time devoted only to my kids, my work, and my husband, and 15 months of not feeling well, I did it and I survived! You see since the kids were born and a MOMMY was born I have done nothing for me. Recently I even had someone that I look up to and admire very much make a comment after seeing a picture of Donnie and I with the babies said "oh my you look so different with out your glasses and make up on." That day I realized just how much I had let myself go and vowed that I would always go out and to work with make up on and myself put together more like my old self, even though I am not the same person. I know that in no way did she say that to make me feel bad or hurt my feelings, it was just a wake up call. I go one time a month to the mothers of multiples club and one other time my sister n law watched the kids on a weekday and I went out of the house on my own. I love my kids with all my heart and soul and waited my whole life and twelve of the fifteen years of marriage to be a mom and when it happened I felt so complete, finally. I have had very little help. The first year when I went to work we had all volunteer help to keep the kids while we worked. It was all on the weekend and the other five days of the week I was home and/or Donnie was home. Donnie and I have got to run and grab a quick bite to eat when mamaw and papaw was here but that usually is about a hour. We did last year go out to dinner and a movie for our anniversary, other then that I go to work and home. I love being a mom. I wish I could be a stay at home mom. I have had a couple of really bad days and this afternoon at the very perfect moment I was in tears and Amy called me and asked me "how today was?" It has been a pretty ruff couple of weeks as the kids have not been sleeping very well and most of all Alli. Emma and Nate have for sometime had what I think are night terrors and wake up screaming and until they are completely awake they scream. Sometimes it is a couple of minuets and other times it takes a good bit. Once they are awake they will usually go back to sleep and under thirty minuets all is back in bed and that is that till morning. Alli has been the best sleeper since they started sleeping through the night. We have always just put them to bed after being sung to nightly and cover them up with their ever so important silky blankets each in their own way and style. You see they each like the blankets a certain way, one with the blanket laying flat and the silky part up and she lays on top of it with the top two corners folded over her tummy but not her legs and feet covered and the little blankie on the right side of her face but not touching her, one tucked only on one side with the silky part next to his face and the rest the length of his body and the small blankie folded to where the writing is on top so he can rub it, and one keeps hers over her with the silky side touching her face on one side and the little blankie on the opposite side of her face. The bed time routine has changed a bit as they have grown but not much. We start out by doing diapers, brushing, jamies, book, teeth, sing, tell Jesus night and we have now started teaching them how to make the sign of the cross. All at once in the last two weeks Alli has started waking up screaming and as soon as I pick her up she stops crying and I will rock her a bit and go to put her in bed and if she has gone back to sleep or if she is calm but awake as soon as you start to put her back in bed it starts all over again. I am at a loss! I did talk to the pediatrician's office and the nurse felt as though it was possibly night terrors. Not to mention the broken sleep and the periods with her crying when I have tried to let her self sooth has taken it's toll on me. I spent Monday on the phone for long periods of time with the insurance company and her up, and Nate up and they didn't nap well and by the time Amy called me this afternoon I was in tears when she asked me those little words. Since Alli did not nap well and crying at even Nate or Emma looking at her, it was just it. I just wished they were gone for a bit, not that I would ever touch my kids, I was just overwhelmed and when I said that to Amy I immediately felt overwhelmed with guilt. I have of course had bad/trying days in twenty one months just none to where I just wished they were gone for a bit. I know I have never written about many if any bad days but yes our house is a normal house and we have bad days also. Amy said I will come and get them if you will let me take them for a bit. At that moment I needed it so bad! So I am sure she flew as fast as she could before I changed my mind. I hate for them to be away from me and they have not been in the car with anyone else since the first day I went back to work after they came home from the hospital. I was very nervous but yet felt like I could breath just for a minuet. They went out to eat and then played at Amy and Scott's for a bit and they were in their jamies when they got home and ready to just get in bed. I feel really guilty but really have tried not to think much about it. To me not feeling well, I have had extreme pressure in my abdomen since the babies were about five months old. After being blown off by a couple of doctors after my family doctor left family practice and a couple of other things happen with in that office I finally changed doctor's this summer and he immediately started lab work and tests. After the hurry up and wait between the different test and the pressure turning to pain here we are today and on Thursday I see a surgeon to hopefully have my gallbladder taken out. My family doctor and the gi specialist strongly feel after many test and a family history of the women in my family having gallbladder disease and the problem beginning not after just a pregnancy but a triplet pregnancy that this is the problem. So come Thursday hopefully I will know if I could be on the way to hopefully feeling better. Sorry for the novel but as you can tell I have had a couple of bad days. Thanks Amy for calling at the right time for a weak spot to surface! Thanks Scott, Katlyn and Nicholas for giving up your evening to spend it with three toddlers.

Nate NOT taking a nap~

although this is not the best picture...I was trying to take it through the little space in the door. Nate decided not to take a nap. He was checking out his feet and toes. He would raise one up and investigate and then the other. He did this for the longest time with me standing at the door marveling over the fact that "this was my baby making those precious sounds and enjoying himself while he discovered how many feet and toes there were, not someones baby I was watching."

The Things a Mommy will do........OMG!

This picture daddy took while mommy was gone to work...he must of not had anything exciting going on, but when mommy got home from work the fireworks started. Daddy was holding Nate, that had gone back to sleep and Emma that was awake enjoying the Olympics. I took Nate and put him in bed and changed my clothes and took Emma so daddy could go to the store for more milk. I gave Emma some gas drops and cuddled for a bit and as she was settling down Jenna popped up off the floor and darted to the front door. I immediately knew that there was something in the foyer. I went to put Emma in her crib and see what had Jenna's attention expecting a spider......boy was I wrong! It was a lizard! I just about had a heart attack. I ran to the kitchen, after standing there trying to quickly come up with a solution, I got a bowl out of the cabinet and ran back to the foyer and on my first try I got the bowl over the top of him but, it was on the silver piece that is between the floor and the carpet. Great, now I have to get that bowl level so he can't get out till Donnie gets back home. I was un-successful, he ran as fast as he could under the door into the nursery, Oh s***! He can't be in there with my babies. I call Donnie and tell him he needs to hurry there is a lizard in the nursery and he said "I just got here." Why did I think I was going to get him to come back and get this thing out of my babies room? So I turn their light from dim to full blast, Nate and Alli sleeping so peacefully and Emma thinks she needs to see what mommy is doing on the floor. I tell Jenna "find it girl" and I grab the little flash light that I use to peek in diapers in the night to find out who is stinky and Jenna spots the scared to death lizard in the closet with his head hid between a box of diapers and a package of diapers. I clear the right side of the closet that had baby wipes stacked up and more diapers and then move the package that he was by and he ran to the right and tried to hide under a spare travel wipes box. I tried to get the bowl over him once again and I missed and he ran again, this time back into the hall, the whole time Emma standing at the end of her crib with her arms crossed watching and Jenna in the hall watching. He got just out side the door and I tried again, and......I got it! Yep, I had to have pictures of this! Who was ever going to believe me?
there he is under the bowel and all I could think of now was I bet you are peeing on my carpet and how in the h*** am I going to get you out of here. I turned the nursery light back down Nate and Alli still sleeping and told Emma ni-night pulled their door and try to keep Jenna from flipping the bowl off this thing. I called Donnie back and told him not to worry, ha ha, that I had caught the lizard. Now what? I stood and thought a minuet and went to the garage making Jenna come along so she wouldn't let our new friend out and got a cereal box out of the recycle bin. I opened it all the way flattened it and doubled it so I could get it under the edge of the bowl. I tried to slide it under the bowl and the lizard and he was pretending to be dead and I could not get him on top of the box for nothing, and then, he stared running circles and he got on top the box...
there he is. Now I go open the front door and unlock the storm door. Jenna still wanting to see, I get my hand under the box and pressing with dear life the box and bowl together, I get him out side and hear a noise and Logan was just getting home. He is the neighbors son. I yell for Logan because I just new when I took that bowl off that thing was going to run dead at me. Logan uncovered him while I stood back and all is good! I am beat after thirteen and a half hours at work and an adventure with a lizard. Well, I guess I will start all over again in the morning at eight, for only twelve hours at work minus the lizard adventure. Sleep tight!

photo shoot

Well, I thought I better get these pictures up before I had another "guest blogger." These were taken by Tanya at the Farm House Kids. If I knew how to make this a link I would, to visit Tanya's blog look at my blogs I read and you will find her there. When we arrived on the farm we did not give the kids time to think about what was going on. We hopped out of the van and went right to the beloved rock. Tanya has taken so many pictures on this rock and I told her I wanted to be one of the family's with pictures on the rock. So here is a sneak peek. If I ever force myself to sit down and pick what I want edited I will show you more and even have them printed to give you some.
My trio were the last ones to get their pictures taken in the new wheat. When we were done, this little corner that Tanya begged for them not to plow so we could do these pictures, was gone shortly after we finished.

Playing ball with Sara.....

That is Sara's knee...they were having fun throwing the balls to her and her throwing them back
This was a very rare moment. You see when you put this precious little girl to bed at night you never hear from her till morning. For some reason she was very restless and needed some mommy snuggles. She laid in my arms for a long time. I really miss these moments with her.

A Mommy day....

We took this picture while I was removing Emma from the laundry room. For me taking this of us it is not to bad.
Nate and Alli pretty proud that they climbed into the chair over the arm from the little table that is by the chair.
I was getting them out of the van and sat them on top of their wagon while I went to retrieve the rest of the stuff from the van. This was there last ride in there little car seats. Tomorrow the hospital staff will install our big seats.

Happy Mother's Day

I love to read to my babies and they love to be read to. This picture was taken about a week ago. I didn't get to spend only enough time with them to get them ready for bed and tuck them in. I work 8a-8p on weekends but the other girl that I worked with that day that leaves at 7 let me leave at 7, thank you Ryan. I got a medicine ball that I have been wanting for a while. I knew when I opened my card that it was the last card that Donnie opened because it had three Woodstock's bouncing on springs with Snoopy. Donnie was going to bring them to the hospital to see me but it was pretty cold and rainy. I didn't want to take the chance of them catching something. Aunt Tammy and the kids brought me a picture that she designed on the computer of the babies. It was just beautiful. All four of my sisters kids are Donnie and my godchildren. I will have to take a picture of my picture and post it.

A day out with Mommy

First in our day we went to the allergist with mommy and we were so good. They just watched the nurse practitioner look in my ears and listen to my lungs and of course they were the hit of the office for the afternoon. After that we picked our cousin Megan up from school and walked around Walgreen's and everyone got a new book. We then met Aunt Tammy, Kara, Adam and Sara at Sonic for a after school drink and little snack......french fries yum! I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of the kids with their cousins. I even had the camera in the diaper bag. I don't know what I was thinking.
This is Emma getting her teeth brushed for the first time. She thought it was funny!
Nate.....not so much!
Alli also thought it was funny. We will get much better at it since we do it two times a day.

Will I ever get it together?

I promise I am going to get it together. I got a new computer and now I just need to figure out how to get my pictures from the camera to the computer and then I am going to be a great blogger. As great as I can be with three wee ones that keep me on my toes. I did post some of there b-day pictures but they are down a bit so they are with the correct date for future reference. Please hang in there with me and come back and check on us.

Love Stacey
