Our new addition...

This is the left over scene in the mud room from the busy day we had on Saturday. I have waited for such a long time to have little shoes in my mud room that the sight of these six little shoes warmed my heart. I am so thankful every single day for my babies. The other scene that I love and melts my heart every time I get into my car is the three car seats in the back of my van. I stop at that sight and thank God every single time I get in the van.

Aunt Marty came out today to watch the littles so daddy could go to Babies r us to get the new addition.

Here is Nate and Emma dancing to the puppy dog that barks to the tune of Jingle Bells.
and finally the new addition to our sea creature bathroom. A Frogie potty chair. As you seen a few days back Emma went potty on the big potty and they have all been telling us as soon as they go potty so figured we best get them a little chair and begin letting them get used to it and sit on it when we go to the rest room. We got a great bargain! The hospital I work at was having a corporate sponsor night and we got a 10.00 gift card and I had a 15% off coupon so we got our 15.00 potty chair for like $3 dollars and some change.

Our First Trip To The Park

Today we went on our first trip to the park. Sara had spent the night and was with us. Aunt Marty had called and they wanted to come out but since we were leaving they just met us at the park. Trevor and Troy wanted to see the little ones. When we first put the girls in the swing Emma loved it but Alli was not so sure, but after a minute she was fine. See the little boy in the back ground, that is Donnie's great nephew Devin. Dalton was also there, Donnie's great niece Dakota and the boys cousin had brought them to the park.
Nate of course did not like it. I held on to him and talked to him to hopefully settle him down but he wanted nothing to do with it. Katie is his ot and she thinks it has to do with the sensory stuff going on with him.
So we tried me sitting on the swing and holding him and nope that didn't work either, so lets try the slides........They did not like doing it by there self but didn't mind you holding onto them on the little slide.
Troy was going to hold her at the top and let me be at the bottom but Alli held to the bar for dear life.
Here is Sara letting Nate go from the top and Troy now with Emma. This wasn't so bad!

They had decided by this time that if I would hold them and slide them down from the side that was OK.
Tanya does this look familiar with one of the girls trying to run?
I love these next couple of pictures. This is Emma. Let me tell you about her head band. I have been putting a little spout pony on top of her head, but little Alli's hair is so fine that I can't do that with her yet so I put a head band on her. When Alli and I went into the living room where the others were Emma went back to their bedroom door and was knocking and grunting and when I went in there I opened the door and she went right to the dresser where I keep there hair things and wanted the drawer open, when I opened it she kept grunting trying to tell me what she wanted but I told her there was nothing in there she could have and I took her back out. Seconds later she was back at the door and we did it all over again when I realized she was trying to show me the head bands, I picked out her white one and asked her is this what you want and she smiled great big, so we took her rubber band out and put her head band on and she was as happy as could be.
Here is sweet Nate.
Here is little stinker Alli. They loved walking all over this gym. See the tube like thing behind Alli? They loved crawling through that also.

Today we learned how to climb but couldn't figure out how to get down so we just cried. Nate gets to the chair and then he cries.

Donnie brought the kids to see me at work and my sister and the kids also came. They brought me cards and a cup cake. Donnie brought me cards and said I could pick out my new cell phone. My brother n law and his wife also came to see me and brought me some beautiful spring flowers. I also got phone calls wishing me a happy birthday.

I was trying to get everyone ready and out the door to go to the hospital and see Aunt Marty and when I went to get the kids to put them in their car seats this is what I found. I just turned around and to myself said "what else can I do but go get the camera."

A day with Aunt Marty

Today Aunt Marty came to stay with us so "Mayme," aka Amy could leave in time to get to the funeral home to be with her family. Aunt Marty has breast cancer and is doing so well, we are so proud of her. She moved her radiation up in the day to be here. When I couldn't get anyone to stay with the trio so I could go to the funeral home Marty said she would just stay with them. I was worried she would get to worn out but she said she was fine and that to go ahead and go. Here is a picture of Emma and Alli with her doing "this little piggy."

When I got home they were pretty fussy but it was pretty close to bed time and they wanted Mommy to read to them so we read and book and then started geting jammies on and medicine taken and ready for the last bottle.
