The verdict is in, I am having my gallbladder removed next Wednesday. The bad part about it is I can not lift for seven full days:( That is going to be a ruff one with three 21month olds. Ginger one of the kids ot had offered to come by in the mornings to help get them up, brushed and dressed and the rest well Prayer has always guided my hand to know what to do and I am positive it will not fail me now. So this afternoon I had lots to do and started with removing the rest of the summer things from the closet leaving couple of pairs of shorts and t shirts for each just in case this crazy Indiana weather says we need them. Tried on some things that needed to be gone through behind the super yard in the picture below. While I was working in the closet in the nursery the kids were having great fun as you can tell by the floor in the picture. They were happy and I was able to get a few things accomplished. I have to get that mess taken care of before Wednesday. That is going to be a ruff one because I now work Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. Mamaw came by this evening since she didn't get to come by last night. My dad was in the hospital. He had some facial numbness and was admitted for test. It was discovered that there is plac breaking away in the arteries and bouncing off the brain causing it. They said this could happen from time to time. All is well and he went back to work this evening. So I am off to bed to begin my long weekend bright and early at 5 am.

That's it. Normally I don't overkill the info, but today I seem to be on a roll.
I had my gall bladder out when the twins were 4 months. Yay!!! It was the best thing for my health leaving me feeling soooo much better, and the pain didn't compare to a c/s at all for the recovery. The no lifting was driving me crazy after a while though especially because the twins couldn't walk. Hopefully it will be easier for you with bigger kids. Getting them out of a crib or into a high chair could be an issue though. Or the bath tub. Yikes! Anyway, let me know if you have any specific questions. Good luck!!
Hope your surgery goes well. I had to have mine out a few years ago.
